Pets, smoke, and cabin funk

Small interiors concentrate whatever lives in foam, carpet, and the furnace filter. Hunt the source; don’t fog the whole coach first.

Washed pet beds, blankets, and the crate pad — they outgas for months. Checked carpet, vinyl seams, and under the dinette for accidents or spilled milk. Outdoor shoes and wet hiking gear are out of the hanging closet. Furnace / AC filter replaced. A dirty filter smells like burned dust. Interior trash and the outdoor kitchen bin aren’t a forgotten fish wrapper. If smoke: washed fabrics and wiped walls. Ozone machines are a last resort and can damage rubber. Cross-breeze or roof fan after cleaning. Stale air makes every other smell louder.

If it’s still swampy, go back to musty / mildew. If it’s still sewage, black tank.
