Walked the coach with the AC off and noted where the smell is strongest (bath, under bunk, closet, ceiling). Checked ceiling and upper cabinets for stains, soft spots, or fresh water trails. Window frames and over-cab for condensation or failed seals. Pulled dinette and sofa cushions; smelled the foam, not just the cover. Looked under the shower, around the toilet flange, and in basement bays for damp. AC or heat-pump drip pan and filter are clean and draining, not swampy. Ran a roof fan or opened windows opposite each other to flush stale air. Moisture absorber or dehumidifier in the bath and a closet if the rig is parked. Washed or sunned curtains, rugs, and dog beds. They hold odor after the leak is gone.

Soft floor or dark ceiling stain

That’s a leak, not a candle problem. Fix the water path before you replace fabric.
